I have learned
That being different among the rest
Doesn’t mean
That you have to be a Goth
Who wears black at all times,
Because you’ll surely have thousands of replicates
That would seem to be mere dots across the globe;
To be different
You don’t have to be an EMO,
Because people would think twice
If you’re a Goth or a Punk
And may even mistake you for a street magician
Being different
Doesn’t mean you have to try hard to be weird;
You don’t have to try hard to be,
Since innately
We have certain degrees of weirdness;
Some want dead quietness
While some are deafened by sheer silence,
Some were born to age fast
While some die with the glee of a child in their eyes
And some eventually acquire
That certain degree of difference called…
Peculiarity
wow!
