Early last year I heard from my mom that one of her colleague’s 24 year old daughter literally dropped down dead while she was at her office. The woman was later on declared to have died of cardiac arrest. Little did my mom know that later that year I would be diagnosed with a heart disorder.
I was diagnosed with mitral heart regurgitation, a condition in which your heart’s mitral valve doesn’t close tightly, which allows blood to flow backward in your heart. Mitral valve regurgitation is also called mitral insufficiency, or mitral incompetence (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mitral-valve-regurgitation/DS00421). We were all devastated by the news and immediately followed my doctor’s order. My doctor prescribed monthly shots of antibiotics on my butt muscles since the medicine is intramuscular which means it should be directly injected on the muscle. I kept up with this for about four months then decided to stop having the injections since I was not feeling any better. Having some background on the medical field, I knew the injectables will never be the cure. True enough, I have learned that recent studies by the American Heart Association stated that such injectables are not that necessary for mitral valve regurgitation cases (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mitral-valve-regurgitation/DS00421/DSECTION=7).
At present, I am starting on the Pauling Therapy I have heard from our Church minister. The therapy requires high doses of vitamin C taken with other supplements (http://www.thecureforheartdisease.com/owen/HeartCureRD.htm). After a month, I’ll be waiting for the results of this therapy on the 45 year old heart of this 26 year old wanderlust.
